1975
~ Year in which the
'Pellingrosso'
company was set up, with a small head office in Empoli
(FI), to supply the numerous manufacturers of the area
producing leather articles (our historic clientele).
1978
~ Transfer of the corporate head office to a commercial building,
with expansion of the display premises. Setting up of
the I.P.P. 'Ingrosso
Pelli per Pellicceria', a branch of the company, the
core business of which was the processing and sale of
leathers for the leather goods industry.
1986
~ Participation in the first sector Fairs in Italy, such as
LINEAPELLE in Bologna, in both winter and summer
editions. Even now, given the importance of this Fair in
the sector, the company continues to be a loyal
exhibitor.
1995
~ Expansion of the display
premises, with transfer of the head office to Via
Giuntini in Empoli (FI).
1996
~ Creation of the first
multilingual website: a window on the world. Merger of
Pellingrosso and Ingrosso Pelli per Pellicceria into a
single company: 'INDUSTRIE PELLAMI SRL'.
1998
~ Attendance at the first sector
Fairs abroad, and opening up to trade with the new
markets and the emerging countries.>
2003
~ UNI EN ISO 9001
certification obtained.
2004
~ Restyling of the head office and display premises, with the
creation of the "Spazio delle idee": a
polyvalent multifunctional corridor at the disposal of
the clientele.
